What are each of the different categories of sound that are explained?  In detail, explain the role of each of these categories of sound in film and how they enhance the story.

Sound in film is are made up of three different categories: the human voice, sound effects, and music. Dialogue expresses to tell the story and expresses feelings and motivations of the character. Sound effects are used to bring realism into the film, and can be used for the mood, or sound effects. Music, such as background, is used to add emotion and rhythm, as well as 'linking' the music with specific parts of the story such as characters.
