Why is the director of photography role so important in a film?  What are some of their responsibilities on a film?

The director of photography is an important, because they create the visual look of the entire film, by working with the director, the camera crew, and the lighting department.

The director of photography is responsible for having full knowledge about camera equipment, experience in the industry, being flexible, making quick decisions, be creative with an artistic vision, and having excellent communication skills.

Summarize the three techniques that she taught in this lesson? What is a way you could use each of these individual techniques going forward with your video's that you create? One technique that was explained in the video was the Rate Stretch Tool, adjusting the speed depending on how you adjust the clip. The second technique is changing the the Clip Speed / Duration. There's also Ripple Edit, which fills in gaps. Another feature is Reverse Speed, which is exactly what it sounds like.
