Why is vertical video a bad idea? Have you taken one? Why?
NO. NO. NO. This is something that has always bothered me. I HATE IT when people record vertically. The only times I record vertically is when I use SnapChat, because that's how you use the app. When I use the camera app on my phone, I ALWAYS record horizontally. But SnapChat is the reason millions of people record vertically. They're used to it, and they simply don't care how they record. Yes, I think vertical videos are a really bad idea, because they just look terrible, and when you watch the video horizontally, the video only uses 1/3 of the phone screen. And it's just not the way videos are supposed to be filmed. I find it unacceptable. There are times when I record horizontally on SnapChat, because I just don't like filming vertically.
