08/16/2017 | SETTING BEGINNING GOALS

To begin the year, set three goals for yourself in this class.  You will reflect back on this in December 
to see how you have performed.  Try to set realistic, achievable goals that you can fulfill by the end 
of May in this course.

1. Finish the class with a good grade and a good reputation. I want to end the year being proud
of myself with the work I've done throughout the year.

2. Become an expert with Adobe Premiere for the future. I don't know if this is the editing software 
they us for major motion pictures, but it could still help me with short films

3. Create a great short film that I'll always be proud of. People sometimes look back at their first film
wish they could've done better. I don't want that to happen to me, so I'm gonna create something 
that I can, hopefully, always be proud of, without wishing to go back and fix it.

09/26/2017 | MANIPULATING TIME

Summarize the three techniques that she taught in this lesson? What is a way you could use each of these individual techniques going forward with your video's that you create? One technique that was explained in the video was the Rate Stretch Tool, adjusting the speed depending on how you adjust the clip. The second technique is changing the the Clip Speed / Duration. There's also Ripple Edit, which fills in gaps. Another feature is Reverse Speed, which is exactly what it sounds like.
