RECORDING GREAT AUDIO FOR VIDEO | 4/9/18

What are the benefits of using a microphone on a boom vs a lav vs on the camera?  What are the differences between single and dual system recording?

There are many different setups fpr recording audio. Some of those setups include on-camera or built in microphone, digital audio recorder only, single system, and double system.

Single system is when the audio device is plugged directly into your camera. The audio is automatically synced to the video. Double system is when the audio device is plugged directly into a digital audio recorder and/or a sound. The audio is later synced to the video during post production.
