Why do you think this film was so successful when it was released in 2011?  Why do you think this film won the best picture oscar for that year considering that sound has been around in since the 1930's?

My thoughts on why this film was successful in 2011 was because of the story between an era of silent actors and talkies. The reason as to why I think this film won the Academy Award for Best Picture is because the film payed homage to the silent film era. Also, of course, for being unique for its time, for it being the only film to do something different, such as being silent.

Summarize the three techniques that she taught in this lesson? What is a way you could use each of these individual techniques going forward with your video's that you create? One technique that was explained in the video was the Rate Stretch Tool, adjusting the speed depending on how you adjust the clip. The second technique is changing the the Clip Speed / Duration. There's also Ripple Edit, which fills in gaps. Another feature is Reverse Speed, which is exactly what it sounds like.
