What is the difference between diegetic and non diegetic sound? What is an example of each that you can think of from a film?
Diagetic sound is when the source is visible or implied in film. Such as dialogue, original sound from an object, and live music. Non Diagetic sound is any sound with the source not being present or implied. This includes an original score, commentary, narration, and sound effects.
