Summarize the script abbreviations for video and audio that you've learned in this video.  Why is it important to know these abbreviations when writing your script?

Every script should have a header on every page for organization. A description for a scene is called a slug. The action paragraph is basically used to describe the action that occurs in the video. The Parenthetical is how you think the actor/actress should deliver their line. Basic shot types abbreviations that you'll be using is LS for Long shot, S for Medium Shot, and CU for Close Up. Camera moves include Pan Tilt, Zoom, Boom and Dolly. Video sources include B-roll which are original videos, archive video, graphics, animation and talent. VO is voice over, VOCis voice on camera from the narrator, SOT is sound on tape, and dialogue is performed by the actors.
