Why is the Production Designer role so important?  What are some of their responsibilities on a film?

The role of Production Designer is so important because they're working with the Director and Producer to produce a budget and schedule. They're also directing the team responsible for producing the visual elements, sets, and costumes. The Production Designer has responsibilities, including helping the directors to define and achieve the look and feel of the film, deliver design sketches, as well as calculate the budget, deciding how the money and effort will be spent.

Summarize the three techniques that she taught in this lesson? What is a way you could use each of these individual techniques going forward with your video's that you create? One technique that was explained in the video was the Rate Stretch Tool, adjusting the speed depending on how you adjust the clip. The second technique is changing the the Clip Speed / Duration. There's also Ripple Edit, which fills in gaps. Another feature is Reverse Speed, which is exactly what it sounds like.
